Frequently Asked Questions
General
No, we don't sell files. All builds and kits featured on this site are available to download free of charge, or the project is currently in beta, and files will be released free of charge once the build has completed its beta testing.
- None of the individual items in these kits have shipping restrictions within the US. The legality of using our hardware kits depends on your location and local regulations. We encourage customers to research and comply with all relevant laws and regulations regarding firearm assembly and ownership in their area.
PartsKitty was born out of Print-a-22's desire to grow. Rather than dilute the Print-a-22 brand with larger than 22 caliber kits, we decided to launch PartsKitty to fill that gap.
While members of our team do actively participate in many betas, and we may feature kits for those betas, we don't run any of the beta testing. You will need to go through the proper beta process for the developer group hosting the beta.
Payments & Shipping
Currently we only offer domestic shipping within the United States. This is unlikely to change in the near future.
We accept most major credit cards and Bitcoin (both on-chain and Lightning).
Yes. If you only see Bitcoin as a payment option, this is on purpose, as your locale doesn't allow me to support credit card payments for you.
We actively participate in beta's across this community, and build may of these designs for ourselves. We will not print them for you.
Orders
Please reach out to us with the order number, and last 4 digits of the card you paid with and we'll get any issues resolved.
PartsKitty is not a gun smithing service. We cannot offer service or advice on the construction of your builds. We are happy to answer questions about the contents of our kits.
Stick to builds that went through a proper beta. Start boring, with something 22 caliber so if it fails, the chance of injury is low.
Print-a-22 needed somewhere to grow into supporting kits for bigger calibers. You're looking at that place.
